There is a volunteer opportunity for everyone at The Love Seat. The best part is you will join a committed, joyful team! Volunteer as an individual or with a group of your friends or co-workers in any of the areas below.
Resale Store
Welcome and Hospitality - Greet and assist people dropping off donations or shopping to find bargain treasures or use a voucher for free necessities
Clean and Sort - Make donations ready to display in the store or distribute to families
Oversee a Store Department - Give special attention to one store area
Dress for Success Class - Host a class at The Love Seat or help individual job seekers
Create Kits (offsite activity) - Bedtime packs, cleaning supplies buckets, conversation jars
Solicit Donations (offsite activity) - Place door hangers in neighborhoods to raise awareness of the need for donated items
Upkeep the Facilities - Help with the facilities and grounds upkeep

Furniture Bank
Pick Up and Deliver Furniture - Help pick up donations and deliver to families in need
Make Small Deliveries - Take household boxes or clothing to families in need or local agencies who can better use the items
Provide Moving Assistance - Help a family move their furniture (or donated Love Seat furniture) into their new housing
Clean and Prepare - Clean and prepare furniture that will be donated

Host a Drive
Host a Furniture Drive - Use a Love Seat truck to collect furniture at your church or business.
Host a General Items Drive - Collect smaller donations such as kitchen/ cookware, bedding, and clothing through your small group, organization, or church
